 Shed Stories
A letter received from a die-hard fan:
Dear Buddy and the Fellers,
Here's me story........It's not about how I went out to the shed for a
minute but how I left the shed for a minute.
I live in La Scie,'bout 2 and half hour drive to Grand Falls. Me and
the wife had tickets for your Feb. 21 show. I am a carpenter and spend
every Saturday "working" in the shed. On that particular Sat. I was
gonna work
until 2 or so then off to see Buddy. By 1 o'clock all the regulars had
arrived along with a few drop-ins. They came with beer and a cook of
moose...ready for the day. By's I said ye only got a hour cause I'm
going to
the concert. That hour went by then 2 more. The wife was in the house
having
a fit, fraid we was gonna be late. By's I'm going.. dont be so foolish,
they
said, you're not going nowhere yet lots of time. Gotta use the bathroom
then, I said, "Back in a minute". I said to the wife, "Come on, leave
'em there, but we're going".
That's what we did..got in the car and left. Spoze it was hours before
they even noticed I was gone. Had a wonderful time. Ye is just great.
But now I'm wondering if it was proper shediquette for the head shedite
to leave the shedaholics alone in the shedquarters to attend the shed
tour??? At least they followed the shedule and I didn't return to a
shedhouse.
One of yer biggest fans,
John Tilley.
