When I was a little boy I wanted to be a star
So I saved up all my money and bought a Silverstone guitar
While my friends were playing hockey and traveling wide and far
I stayed inside my bedroom and practiced my guitar
The minutes turned to hours and months turned into years
Now every night I'm up on stage to screams, applause and cheers
My dream is finally realized and for that I thank the Lord
Now all I got to do from here is learn another chord.
